Ittō-ryū, meaning "one-sword school", is the ancestor school of several Japanese Koryū kenjutsu styles, including Ono-ha, Mizoguchi-ha, Nakanishi-ha, Kogen, Hokushin, and Itto Shoden.
Junzo Sasamori (1886-1976) was a Japanese martial art master (16th Head Master for Onoha Itto-ryu Kendo). He received Order of the Sacred Treasure in 1964.
