Geraldine Gutierrez (b. 1959) is a self-taught artist from a San Ildefonso family that has produced many noted painters and potters. Her mother, Helen Gutierrez, was a famous potter. Geraldine's pottery is traditional San Ildefonso, both black and red. She paints watercolors in a highly detailed and colorful style reminiscent of her uncle, Gilbert Atencio. Her subjects are Pueblo ceremonialism and spiritual harmony.
