BEAUTIFUL ORIGINAL BRUCE WATCHMAN GOUACHE NATIVE AMERICAN KACHINA MUDHEAD DANCER

Description

This is an Estate Fresh old ORIGINAL BRUCE WATCHMAN GOUACHE of a NATIVE AMERICAN KACHINA MUDHEAD DANCER painted in 1986.  This piece came from the family estate of Betty Sabo here in Albuquerque.  Its beautifully executed with great detail.  The jewelry cuffs medicine bag garland and even a fox fur at his back.  This is an original painting and not a print or reproduction.  You can see the brush strokes and fine quality painted detail of this wonderful dancer easily.  Signed Bruce Watchman and dated.  The painting is 15.75" Tall x 12.5" wide Framed
There is very little published information on Bruce Watchman ( 1951-2020 ) .  He had exhibited extensively at the Inter-tribal Indian Ceremonial in Gallup, NM where he won 1stPlace Awards in 1986 and 1987.  He has works in galleries and museums throughout the southwest now.  According to a statement from Wright’s Indian Art Gallery in Albuquerque, Watchmen had not been well and has produced little of late, he recently passed this year.
