c1890, Large Antique SOLID SILVER ROMANESQUE Centerpiece / Bowl (3V11)

Description

Large and handsome antique Continental Solid Silver Bowl with two ornate handles, dating to the 19th Century. The Bowl is in a Romanesque style and stands on four ornate feet. Measures 9 3/4" in diameter and stands 4 3/4" to the top of the handles. The two handled antique Silver Bowl is of good weight (approximately 22 ounces) and is in fine condition. Note that we will hand polish before shipping (have not polished before photographing). A small touchmark is in the center of the underside (see photo detail). Beautiful piece----shows well in the photos and best in person! Bright and dark areas are reflections of the room while being photographed, including reflections of our white beamed ceiling. Photos taken with and without a flash.
