Rare zodiac horoscope fine hand carved Italian cameo cabochon. ONE cameo per listing. Very detailed piece carved sometime in the 1940's-1950's in Italy. Lovely goddess pouring water. Piece measuring 19mm x 25.30mm. OOAK piece carved out of natural cornelian shell.
Unmounted and never used cameo.
This is NOT white agate glued on top of stone but actual cornelian where the top white layers have been carved away to reveal this lovely design and cornelian shell
I bought an entire warehouse of SUPERB natural REAL Antique cameos hand carved in Italy.The high end Italian based company was a victim of the downturn of the economy and I bought the entire warehouse stock.
