Flaxseed lignans are phytonutrients found in whole grains, nuts, seeds, fruits, and vegetables. Flaxseed has the highest lignan content of any plant or food, and has a higher antioxidant (ORAC) value than any other fruit or vegetable published in the USDA database.**
While regular flaxseed contains the embryo of the seed, our product contains only the hull, where the lignan is found, yielding a much higher lignan content than regular flaxseed.

Capsules can be pulled apart and the powder can be sprinkled onto dog food, mixed with a spoonful of yogurt (probiotic with live active cultures), or mixed with peanut butter. The full capsule can also be hidden in a piece of cheese or meat, a pill pocket, etc.
