    Description

    Ow-U-Te-Wa Painting of an Elder and a Koshari. Unframed.
    Bob Chavez was in the first graduating class of St Catherine's Indian School in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He was drafted in World War II and was sent to the Pacific where he survived the Bataan Death March and spent five years in Japanese POW camps.
    Honored as a "Living Treasure" by the community of Santa Fe, NM.

    Condition:
    2 very light spots on the front of the painting. A  layer of paper is missing from a few small sections of the cardboard on the back. It does not affect the painting itself and will be hidden once you frame it. Please see the photos for details.
