Up for auction is a very rare book entitled Okinawan Karate-do: Sono Rekishi to Giho (The History and Techniques of Okinawan Karatedo by Uechi Kane (1911 - 1991)
This book is often called the "The Blue Bible" and is a first edition first printing from October 25, 1977.
This is truly the  bible of Uechi Ryu.
This book cost over $ 100.00 back in 1977 and was limited to only 2,000 copies.
This is a huge and very heavy book at 1,325 pages, divided into three sections (Kata of Karate, Theory, Practice Methods of the Basic Techniques and History of Karate).
It also has pictures of the various dojo instructors around the world at that time.
It is also one of the most sought after Karate books ever published.
As you know, this book is very difficult to find anywhere and it has sold in the past for between $ 2,000.00 to 6,000.00 dollars.
