Vintage Art Deco style Tortoise plastic hair comb / pin w/ crystal and turquoise

Description

This is a vintage 1920's to 1930's Art Deco style comb.  It measures 4" long and 1.5" across the widest part.  This sad item was rescued (see photo 5) and given TLC to restore it to as close to its original beauty as possible.
The (few) remaining darkened rhinestones were removed and replaced with Swarovski crystals.  The single remaining turquoise half-bead was removed and the settings were replaced with reconstituted turquoise half-beads.  Reconstituted turquoise are chips that have been merged together.  The base metal has been cleaned and the plastic lightly sanded.  The tips of the prongs are darker than the rest of the comb, I believe the original wearer may have dyed her hair and the hair pin picked it up.  :)
There is a slight crack in the back of the comb (see photo) that has been sanded smooth and does not affect function.   I still have the original two rhinestones and turquoise bead if the buyer wishes to have them.  This little darling deserves to be worn again and she is ready and waiting.  Careful packaging and fast shipping as usual.
