    Description

VINTAGE CHINESE HANGING SCROLL AFTER JIANG TINGXI
The featured item represents a Chinese hanging paper scroll mounted on silk brocade that measures
    approximately
68" long with the scroll bar and 24 1/4" wide. The visible paper size is about 49 3/4" x 21 1/4".
The central image with the lotus leaves and flowers in a vase is
    a reproduction of
    the
    Jiang
    Tingxi
(1669-1732) color on silk scroll "Lotus of a Thousand Petals", executed in 1722 and
    currently
in the National Palace Museum, Taipei.
On the featured example there is a lot of calligraphic text and red seals but they
    appear
    to be
different from the one seen on the original.
The item comes in overall good condition with no major damages but normal vintage wear like small
    scuffs
, marks and stains here and there.
THE ITEM IS SOLD "AS IS"
